Passing the torch: FDC's & the Lloyd's Family Legacy

When Dr. Colleen Lloyd opened her dental practice in the early 1990s, she had a simple but powerful vision: create a place where exceptional dental care goes hand in hand with genuine human connection. Little did she know, that her practice would become a cherished part of the community. Patients would become friends, and their children would grow up considering visits to the dentist as a warm reunion rather than a dreaded appointment.

For three decades, Dr. Colleen's gentle touch and caring heart transformed routine dental visits into moments of connection. She remembered the little details of her patient's lives—their children's graduations, career changes, and family milestones. Her practice became a place where stories were exchanged, laughs were shared, and generations of families found their dental home.

When Dr. Colleen retired in February 2024, she passed the torch to someone who had witnessed her dedication firsthand—her son, Dr. Andre Lloyd (Dr. Dre). Growing up, Dr. Dre saw how his mother's compassionate approach made a difference in people's lives. Today, he combines modern dental expertise with the same warmth and personal attention that made his mother's practice special.

Under Dr. Dre's care, our office remains a place where you're greeted by name, your concerns are heard, and dental excellence meets genuine kindness. While the technology may have evolved, our commitment to treating every patient as part of our extended family remains unchanged.
